How to Become an RN Fast?
There are several pathways you can take to become an RN that range from 1-2 years in length. They include the following:
1: LPN to RN
If getting on to the hospital floor quickly is your short term goal, then an LPN is a good initial step. Typically, these programs take the average student just under a year to complete. Graduates can begin working as a nurse right away. Additionally, they’ll gain valuable on-the-job training as they complete an LPN to RN bridge program.
2: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
An Associate Degree in Nursing program is typically 2 years in length. Upon completion of an associate degree program, graduates will have an RN license.
3: Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN)
This is a great option for prospective students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field. These programs can range from 1-2 years and upon completion, graduates will hold an RN license.
